Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Important: These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at houseofjahan.co.uk (the “Site”). They are designed under the laws of England and Wales. They are not a client services agreement. Paid consulting, coaching, or project work is governed only by a separate written contract (for example a proposal, statement of work, or letter of engagement) between you and House of Jahan Ltd. These terms are not legal advice.
1. Who we are
The Site is operated by:
- House of Jahan Ltd (“House of Jahan”, “we”, “us”, “our”)
- A private limited company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17337011)
- Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom
- Email: hello@houseofjahan.co.uk
The registered office is disclosed because UK company law requires it on our website. It is not a public visiting address. Please contact us by email.
Humera Jahan is the Director and founder of House of Jahan Ltd. References on the Site to “I”, “me”, or Humera Jahan in the founder story describe her role in the company. Unless a separate contract expressly says otherwise, your legal relationship for use of this Site — and for any services you later buy — is with House of Jahan Ltd, not with Humera Jahan in her personal capacity.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms, and “you” includes that organisation.
3. What this Site is for
The Site provides general information about House of Jahan Ltd, our services (including project management and delivery, PMO consulting, transformation and process improvement, AI coaching and adoption, and sales / commercial enablement), case studies, insights, and ways to contact us.
Nothing on the Site is:
- professional advice tailored to your circumstances;
- an offer capable of immediate acceptance forming a services contract;
- a guarantee of outcomes, savings, timelines, or regulatory compliance for your organisation; or
- legal, financial, tax, medical, or investment advice.
You should take independent professional advice before acting on any information on the Site. Any engagement for services starts only when House of Jahan Ltd and you have agreed written terms for that work.
4. Your responsibilities when using the Site
You agree that you will:
- use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of, the Site;
- not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the server, or any connected system;
- not introduce malware, scrape the Site in an abusive way, overload our infrastructure, or reverse engineer non-public parts of the Site except to the extent you cannot be prohibited by law;
- not misuse contact or newsletter forms (including for spam, phishing, or sending unlawful content);
- provide accurate information if you submit a form or subscribe to updates; and
- comply with all applicable laws, including data protection and computer misuse laws.
We may suspend or block access to the Site, refuse submissions, or remove content where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or the Site’s security or integrity is at risk.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, House of Jahan Ltd owns or is licensed to use the intellectual property in the Site and its content, including text, branding, logos, graphics, layout, and downloadable materials. The House of Jahan name, logo, and related brand elements are protected.
You may view, download, and print pages from the Site for your own internal business evaluation or personal information purposes only, provided you do not modify the content and you keep proprietary notices intact.
You must not, without our prior written permission:
- copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from Site content for commercial publication or competing services;
- use our trademarks, logo, or the name “House of Jahan” in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership; or
- use Site content to train public AI models for commercial redistribution where that would conflict with these terms or applicable law.
Biographical information and likenesses relating to Humera Jahan appear on the Site for company marketing and transparency. You may not use her name, image, biography, or likeness for your own marketing, endorsement claims, or commercial purposes without prior written consent from House of Jahan Ltd (and, where required, from her).
6. Case studies, testimonials, and credentials
Case studies are anonymised illustrations drawn from programme experience. Details may be generalised. They are not promises that the same results will occur for you.
Testimonials (including role-based or illustrative quotes) reflect opinions at a point in time and are not warranties.
Professional credentials mentioned on the Site (for example PMP®) belong to their respective owners. Use of credential marks does not imply endorsement by the credentialing body beyond permitted nominative use.
7. Enquiries, discovery calls, and forming a contract
Submitting a contact form, booking a discovery conversation, or exchanging emails does not create a services contract. We may decline or discontinue discussions at our discretion.
If we agree to provide services, the contracting party will be House of Jahan Ltd. Humera Jahan may deliver work as Director / consultant for the company. That does not make her personally a party to the contract unless a document she signs in a personal capacity expressly says so — which will not be inferred from the Site alone.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site you acknowledge that policy. Where PECR requires consent for electronic marketing, we will seek it (for example via newsletter signup).
9. Third-party links and tools
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (including LinkedIn). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, or terms. Links are not endorsements.
10. Availability and changes to the Site
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure access. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site without notice. We may update these Terms of Use from time to time; the “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim all warranties, representations, and conditions of any kind (express or implied) relating to the Site, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except that we do not exclude anything that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability — House of Jahan Ltd
This section applies to liability arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site and reliance on Site content. It does not limit liability under a separate signed services contract, which will contain its own liability terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House of Jahan Ltd will not be liable for:
- loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data;
- indirect, consequential, special, or incidental losses;
- business interruption; or
- any loss arising from your reliance on general Site content without a separate engagement.
Subject to the non-exclusions below, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site in any 12-month period is limited to £100 (one hundred pounds sterling).
13. No personal liability of directors, officers, or Humera Jahan
To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, you agree that:
- any claim relating to the Site or its content may be brought only against House of Jahan Ltd;
- you will not bring any claim in connection with the Site against Humera Jahan personally, or against any other director, officer, employee, or agent of House of Jahan Ltd, in their personal capacity; and
- those individuals may rely on this clause as a third-party benefit under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law (including, where applicable, rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for consumers).
If you are a consumer (an individual acting wholly or mainly outside your trade, business, craft, or profession), you keep mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived. If you are using the Site wholly or mainly for business purposes, you acknowledge that business-to-business limitations are reasonable given that the Site is free informational content.
14. Indemnity (business users)
If you use the Site in connection with a business, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless House of Jahan Ltd and its directors, officers, and agents (including Humera Jahan) from and against claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party right — except to the extent caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct.
15. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including hosting outages, network failures, cyber attacks, strikes, illness, or changes in law.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. An invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
17. No waiver
A failure or delay by us in enforcing any provision is not a waiver of our rights.
18. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to an affiliate or successor as part of a business transfer.
19. Entire agreement (Site use)
These Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and House of Jahan Ltd regarding use of the Site, and supersede prior understandings on that subject. They do not supersede any signed services agreement.
20. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them or the Site are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you may benefit from mandatory protections of your country of residence where applicable.
21. Contact
